Managing Medication Delivery with The Wand

The Art of Anesthesia.  Comfort is one of the most important aspects that we consider in providing dental treatments to our patients. And now, a simple, computerized medication delivery system called "The WAND" allows us to administer medication injections with little or no discomfort. In fact, the control mechanism manages the anesthetic's flow and volume at a slow rate, eliminating sensation by staying below the pain threshold. In fact, the system even drops a tiny bit of medication at the injection site prior to needle insertion, creating a comfortable injection pathway.

Normal, Not Numb.  Even though numbness is a benefit during your treatment, it's certainly not helpful as you attempt to carry out your daily responsibilities following your appointment. That's another reason why we appreciate the WAND: it allows us to numb only the specific area being treated rather than your entire lips or face. So, post-procedural numbness won't bother you as you resume your normal activities. In fact, you can confidently schedule your treatment without canceling the rest of your day.
