The first step in the Invisalign treatment process is to schedule a consultation with our dentist. As Invisalign is not right for everyone, our dentist must first conduct an oral evaluation to see if you qualify for this treatment.
If you are eligible for Invisalign, our dentist will begin creating a customized a plan for you by taking comprehensive 3D digital images of your teeth. These images are used to create your custom-made aligners and will also show you how your smile will look after your treatment is complete.
The Invsalign system uses a set of transparent aligners, which are made of a BPA-free, non-toxic material. The aligners are removable, so caring for your teeth is simple, and there are virtually no dietary restrictions, unlike what you might experience with traditional braces.
Although Invisalign aligners are removable, our dentist recommends wearing them at least 22 hours per day, if not more. Every 6 weeks or so, we will replace your Invisalign aligners with a new set to continue the gradual movement of your teeth. The more diligent you are about wearing your aligners for the recommended amount of time, the faster you'll see results.
Proper Care During and After Treatment
We will provide you with detailed instructions on how to properly care for your teeth and aligners throughout the treatment process. This will protect your teeth from stains, tooth decay and other potential complications that might interfere with your treatment. Our dentist may also recommend wearing a retainer following your treatment, which will ensure your results last long-term.
For any portion of treatment not covered by your insurance, we accept several forms of payment. We also offer CareCredit, which allows you to pay for your dental treatments and then make monthly payments with periods of low or no interest.
